Washington State POW/MIA Recognition Event to be held in Olympia on September 18, 2026 – 10:00 a.m. POW/MIA Monument, Capitol Campus, Olympia, WA - 302 Sid Snyder Ave SW, Olympia, WA 98501
The Washington State community is invited to gather at the POW/MIA Monument on the Capitol Campus on September 18, 2026, for the annual POW/MIA Recognition Event, honoring the brave service members who endured captivity as Prisoners of War and those who remain Missing in Action.
This year’s ceremony will continue the tradition of reflection, remembrance, and commitment to bringing every missing service member home. The program will include a moment of silence, presentation of honors, and tributes recognizing the sacrifices made by POW/MIA service members and their families.
